Who we are.
u×m is an owner-controlled intelligence platform made by A-Scenda Partners LLC, a Washington limited liability company (“A-Scenda”, “we”). u×n is for organisations; u×2 is for individuals. This policy covers our website, business communications and u×n. We will provide applicable product privacy information before collecting information through u×2. Contact: info@a-scenda.com.
Where your data lives.
u×n stores captured content and the knowledge it builds on infrastructure your organisation controls. A-Scenda does not host your organisation’s knowledge base.
If your organisation enables an approved external artificial intelligence client, called Chosen AI, u×n may supply permitted information to that client. This can include derived knowledge and relevant Evidence. Information supplied to an external client is processed under that provider’s terms and privacy policy, subject to the restrictions below.
What u×n collects.
Origins are places where work, evidence or current business information already lives. A Link is the permission-bound connection through which u×n reads an Origin. Collection depends on the Origins and access you authorise. It may include messages, meeting content, business records, documents, files and web material.
Lived Work is permitted evidence of work that an existing Origin does not contain. When enabled by the user, it can include screen, audio, keyboard and clipboard activity. Each capture channel has a separate, visible control and can be stopped by the user. Before capture begins, the organisation must provide required notices and obtain all required permissions and consents, including those of other participants. Device-owner consent does not replace consent required from other people.
How information is used.
u×n uses authorised information to build your organisation’s private knowledge base and support answers and work with Evidence, a source-linked record of what was written, said, shown or done.
We do not sell personal information or customer content, or use customer content for advertising or to train general-purpose artificial intelligence models. Information from an Origin, including derived knowledge, remains subject to its restrictions on access, use, sharing, retention, deletion and model training. Organisation permissions do not override those restrictions.
Information you give A-Scenda.
Our contact form asks for your name, email address, company (optional) and message. Enquiries are sent to info@a-scenda.com. If you contact us, request access or send material for support, we use the information you provide to respond, manage our relationship, provide support and meet legal obligations. Support material may contain customer content if you choose to include it. Send only information you have the right to share and only what is needed for the request. Information sent to us is processed outside your installation.
Website statistics.
Our website collects aggregate traffic information, including pages visited, referring websites, approximate country and device type. We use this information to understand website use and improve the site.
Retention.
Your organisation manages retention on its infrastructure, subject to applicable law and Origin requirements. Disconnecting an Origin stops new collection but does not itself erase existing information. Correction and routine expiry may leave original records or derived knowledge in place. Deletion requests may require separate action across imported records, derived knowledge and backups.
We do not promise to keep enquiries for a minimum period. Information we retain is kept only as needed for correspondence, support or legal obligations.
Sharing.
Information may be shared with people or services you authorise, providers needed to operate our website, communications and support, or recipients required by law. Providers acting for A-Scenda must protect the information and use it only for the agreed purpose. Origin restrictions and required consents continue to apply.
Security.
Your organisation operates the u×n infrastructure and must maintain appropriate encryption, access controls, updates, backups and secure connections. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for information we handle. No system can prevent every security incident.
Your rights.
You can disconnect Origins, revoke access through their providers and contact your administrator about your information. Request access, correction or deletion through your administrator or info@a-scenda.com. We respond to requests addressed to A-Scenda within 30 days, or sooner where required. We cannot directly change records on infrastructure we do not control. Software limitations do not remove applicable privacy rights or deletion obligations.
Children.
u×m is intended for adult users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 18. Connected Origins may contain information about children; your organisation must have the right to collect and use it.
Changes.
We will post updates here with a revised effective date. Before a new use of information begins, we will provide required notice and obtain any required consent.
